If the charm of rural landscapes begins to tire you, consider the option of knowing the beautiful beaches of Nha Trang. In addition, there you can explore the evocative ruins of the ancient kingdom of Champa.

In the southern center coast you can contemplate the relaxed life on the beaches of the picturesque Nha Trang. The drive along the Pacific coast, from Da Nang to Nha Trang, offers spectacular views of beaches, coves, cliffs and mountains that rush over the sea, with extensive rice fields encased between the steep bluish slopes and the sea, even more blue.

Nha Trang, the most picturesque coastal city and beach destination in Vietnam, is the ideal place to stop for a trip to Vietnam, relax and sunbathe. With a population of 300,000 inhabitants, it is currently the capital of the province of Khanh Hoa, located east of the central highlands. According to popular belief, the name of the city comes from the word cham yakram (literally meaning “bamboo river”).

Although it resembles any striking and touristy enclave such as Pattaya Thai beach, Nha Trang remains fairly quiet. But it is changing rapidly and, therefore, it is preferable to enjoy it while it lasts. With turquoise waters and limpid, diving and diving are the main activities, but the act of just stretching on the beach is already an experience.

In the surroundings, where you can visit the Cham towers of Po Nagar, built between the seventh and twelfth centuries in a site previously used for the Hindu cult as early as the second century.

Nha Trang stands as an important fishing port and, therefore, you can always find abundant fish, and excellent quality. The best restaurants are located in the urban center. Exotic dragon fruit (thanh long) grows only in the Nha Trang area. It is of a size and shape similar to that of a small tropical pineapple, but its taste resembles kiwi. The season of this fruit extends from May to September, and it can be savored as juice.

To the east of the railway station stands the huge Nha Tho Nha Trang (cathedral of Nha Trang), of Gothic style, where the Catholic bishop of the city resides.

A white 19-meter tall Buddha statue overlooks a splendid panorama from its seat on the hilltop that rises behind the Chua Long Son. This pagoda was built in 1886 and since then it has been rebuilt several times.
